Born, bred and living in England, Ben Turl has a passion for electronic music, music software technology and computers. Ben left university with a diploma in Sound & Video Technology and went on to own and run a small independent record label, with several releases under his belt that he'd prefer were now forgotten!

Ben moved into database and Internet development and, bringing together music, technology and a love of the Internet, Ben created 'KVR Audio Plugin Resources' in February 2000, for something to do in the evenings. KVR has since gone on to become an extremely popular hangout for anyone and everyone interested in VST, DirectX and Audio Unit virtual instrument and effect plugins.
