Remix Technology Award Honors Receptor with Komplete Inside

Remix Technology Award Recognizes the Synergy of two great products

Menlo Park, CA. December 10, 2007—Muse Research, Inc. announced today that they have received notice from the editors of Remix Magazine that they have been given a 2008 Remix Technology Award for their Receptor with Komplete Inside product. Receptor with Komplete Inside combines the power and convenience of the Receptor hardware plug-in player with the remarkable sonic capabilities of Native Instrument's Komplete software collection. The combination represents a new level of convenience and defines the term creative partnership: no more worrying about computers, interfaces, or drivers. Simply plug it in, turn it on, and dial up your favorite Native Instruments plug-in. Remix will be presenting the award to Muse Research at the upcoming Winter NAMM show being held in January 2008.

Remix Review foreshadows award, calling the combination "a hands down winner"
Remix magazine recently reviewed Receptor with Komplete Inside and showered the combination of Receptor with Native Instrument's Komplete package with a variety of accolades, including the following:

"On paper, it seems like a match made in heaven, and after test-driving Receptor Komplete for a few weeks, I have the distinct impression that this is one instance where the reality does indeed live up to the hype."

"Muse Research has clearly put a lot of work into making the Receptor a simple and reliable workhorse that's more than just a simple PC in a rack-mount chassis, and I continue to be impressed with the overall sensation that I was working with a musical instrument this whole time — not a computer."

"Receptor is an outstanding audio processor, but its true power is unleashed when used in conjunction with the UniWire interface. UniWire can be inserted as a VST or Audio Unit (RTAS available soon) into any compatible sequencer and routes audio to and from the Receptor in real time as if it were a plug-in on your host computer."

"It almost sounds too good to be true, but after working with Receptor in this way for some time, I can say with confidence that it's a solid system that works flawlessly."

"I can say with confidence that Receptor with Komplete Inside is a hands-down winner that will prove to be a truly worthwhile long-term investment for an electronic musician."

Remix Technology Award to presented at NAMM
Remix Magazine is holding an awards presentation at the upcoming Winter NAMM show this coming January in Anaheim, California. Muse Research will receive their award while showing the latest version of Receptor with Komplete Inside, which features the Komplete 5 collection of virtual instruments and effects.

"It comes as no surprise to us that combining the award winning Native Instruments Komplete collection resonates with users and editors alike" comments Muse Research VP of Marketing Bryan Lanser. "We are truly honored that Remix magazine editors chose to give us this award, but we hope the real reward comes to the musicians who use the product".
