Muse Research Welcomes Wave Arts to the Receptor Platform

Anaheim, CA. January 15, 2004?Muse Research today announced a software distribution agreement with the respected VST effects developer Wave Arts of Arlington, Massachusetts (www.wavearts.com). Wave Arts is the creator of the Power Couple processing and reverberation VST software which combines a high-quality channel strip called TrackPlug with a versatile reverb called MasterVerb, both optimized for extremely efficient CPU usage.

Receptor serves as hardware effects box for Wave Arts plugs
Receptor is a stand-alone VST player which allows you to run plug-in software all in a portable and easy to use hardware package. This allows Wave Arts plug-ins to be used live in sound-reinforcement or fixed sound applications, or installed as a dedicated processor in a studio. This allows the TrackPlug software to be reliably utilized in a variety of environments with optimal sound quality and ease of use.

"Wave Arts has distinguished itself as powerful force in the world of plug-in effects software" comments Bryan Lanser, VP Of Business Development for Muse Research. "TrackPlug enables Receptor users to use multiple instantiations of reverbs and channel strips, allowing audio to be tweaked on a channel by channel basis, as well as using their software live" he adds.

"I'm looking forward to buying a Receptor so I can play guitar through our own plug-ins" says William Gardner, President of Wave Arts. "We're really looking forward to working with Muse Research in making Receptor a success"
