Muse Research Welcomes GMEDIA Music to the Receptor Platform

Anaheim, CA. January 15, 2004?Muse Research today announced a distribution agreement with the innovative UK-based VST software developer GMEDIA Music for their Receptor hardware plug-in player. GMEDIA Music are the creators of The Oddity and impOSCar virtual analog synths, and The M-Tron, a virtual re-creation of the Mellotron synth.

Receptor serves as hardware player for GMEDIA Music software
Receptor allows musicians to run VST format software synths in an easy-to-use, 2-rack space, and portable package. GMEDIA Music software is pre-installed on Receptor in demo mode that allows their software to be evaluated, and then purchased with a simple web-based license transaction. Now all the power of GMEDIA Music software is easier to use than ever, and portable, too.

"We are very excited to welcome GMEDIA Music as one of the charter developers to the Receptor platform" comments Bryan Lanser, VP of Business Development at Muse Research. "Their synths sound great, and empower musicians with a wide range of sounds and timbres from which to create" he adds.

"GMEDIA MUSIC are very pleased to be able to support the Receptor platform with our virtual instruments. This allows musicians who work primarily in the live arena a convenient way of reliably incorporating these instruments into their set-up, as well as enabling musicians who don't use computers to experience the software instrument revolution" Says Dave Spiers of GMEDIA Music.
