"I'm having fun on my 2006 concert tour with a Receptor as one of my main software synth and sample player sources. This small rack-mount device is such a convenient way to handle some of the most popular synths and samples out there for studio and live work. The internal hard drive can store and make available, simultaneously, as many of the largest sample libraries from various manufacturers that you'd ever want to use. Just add a monitor, keyboard, and mouse directly without an external computer or use Muse's Receptor Remote software that works comfortably with my iMac or new MacBook Pro. I love the single Ethernet cable and Muse's "UniWire" technology that allows all the bi-directional MIDI and audio data to communicate easily and quickly between my Receptor and my Mac."
