KVR Developer Challenge Contest A Success

Independent Developers create exciting new plug-ins; voting starts now

San Francisco, CA. October 6, 2006—The KVR Audio website, a wholly owned web property of Muse Research, Inc. announced that “KVR Developer Challenge” held on the website has been a huge success, with nearly three dozen submissions from around the world. Voting by community members for the most popular, useful, and creative plug-in or application commenced this week and will determine the winner of the contest’s cash prize. The winner will be announced on www.kvraudio.com and the entries will continue to be featured on the site after that.

Contest provide an opportunity for developers to show off their programming skills
The Developer Challenge, devised and organized by KVR Audio member Tolga "Tuz" Uz with KVR Audio's Webmaster Ben Turl, is a chance for independent developers to show their skills and creativity, with the results benefiting the community at large. The contest was open-ended, with the task being to create a new, exciting audio plug-in or application that is both creative and useful. Dozens of entries were received, from which one ultimate winner will be chosen with prizes also awarded for second and third highest voted.
