Muse Research Announces UniWire™ V1.1

New version supports VST and AU and provides new help functions

San Francisco, CA. October 6, 2006—Muse Research, Inc. has announced that a new version of its UniWire plug-in for Mac and PC is available. The new Version 1.1 of the UniWire plug-in consists of a universal installer that works on Mac or PC, and will install VST or AU versions of the UniWire plug-in as appropriate. Also included with the PC version of UniWire is a new version of the Receptor Remote program that features one click connection to Receptor’s hard drive for performing software updates, installation, or copying samples or banks and patch data. The new version of UniWire will be available to all registered Receptor users free-of-charge from the company’s www.plugorama.com website.

UniWire now compatible with all hosts and all platforms
Receptor has become the ideal way to use plug-ins live, and with UniWire, you are able to leverage the power of Receptor by running plug-ins on Receptor as if they were on your host computer. Now with the release of Version 1.1 of the UniWire plug-in, you can run VST plug-ins on Receptor with virtually any host such as Cubase/Nuendo, Logic, Ableton Live, Sonar, Digital Performer, Garage Band, etc.

New Receptor Remote for Windows greatly simplifies operation.
Along with the new version of UniWire, Muse Research has released a new version of Receptor Remote for the PC that includes an integrated, video-based help engine, and one-button access to Receptor’s hard drive. This greatly simplifies the task of loading new plug-ins or sample libraries onto Receptor, or backing up Receptor patches.

The new UniWire V1.1 software is available free of charge to all registered Receptor customers on the company’s www.plugorama.com support site.
