Muse Research shuffles Board
Menlo Park, Ca. April 1, 2006—Muse Research, Inc. announced today that Eric Giler, Steve Zelencik, and Dino Cattaneo have joined the board of directors as part of a recent financing.
New directors bring diverse backgrounds to Muse Research
Besides being a customer, Dolby’s experience in the electronic music scene as both a programmer, performer, and producer will assist Muse Research in defining new features and future products that better meet the needs of the live and studio musician. As an individual who has always sought to understand and enhance the convergence between music and technology, Dolby provides unique insights into how Receptor can further the aim of musicians to express themselves without polluting their artistic vision with unnecessary diversions and distractions.
Stephen Zelencik
Stephen Zelencik is the former Senior Vice President of sales and marketing, Chief Marketing Officer, and Officer of Advanced Micro Devices, AMD. He contributed to taking AMD to a Fortune 500 company with sales of $1 Billion in 1980, and $2.5 Billion in 1995.
Eric Giler
Eric Giler is founder and President of BrookTrout Technology until it’s recent acquisition by. Mr. Giler has served on the board of The Massachusetts Telecommunications Council since its founding and is on the Board of Directors for NetPhone, Netegrity, Inc. and several other private companies.
Dino Cattaneo
Dino Cattaneo has over 15 years of experience advising companies on marketing, strategy and finance. Most recently he was Vice President, Director Marketing at Digitas, a leading interactive agency. Prior to Digitas Mr. Cattaneo worked at Bain, Gibson Guitars and Lehman Brothers. Dino’s past clients include Best Buy, General Motors, Morgan Stanley and Microsoft.
