Muse Research RECEPTOR 2 made more complete with Native Instruments KOMPLETE 7

October 12, 2010, Menlo Park, CA -- Muse Research and Development announced today that their esteemed RECEPTOR 2 series of hardware VST plugin players now run Native Instrument’s new KOMPLETE 7 collection of virtual instruments and effects. KOMPLETE 7 features dozens of instruments with a massive sound library of instruments covering a huge range of styles. KOMPLETE 7 is available pre-installed on any model of RECEPTOR, or can be user-installed with Muse Research’s new Direct Install II technology.

KOMPLETE 7 + RECEPTOR 2 = A COMPLETE SOLUTION
KOMPLETE 7 continues the impressive heritage of the KOMPLETE collection of 24 virtual instruments and effects from Native Instruments, with 90 Gigabytes of data delivering over 10,000 sounds in Kontakt 4, along with the venerable sounds from Absynth 5, Battery 3, FM 8, Massive, and Reaktor 5.5. When KOMPLETE is installed on RECEPTOR 2, users get more than the ultimate synth and sampler. Guitarists can plug into RECEPTOR’s front panel instrument input as well, fire up KOMPLETE’s Guitar Rig 4, and play through this powerful guitar effects processor.

KOMPLETE 7 also incorporates five completely new products: studio reverb Reflektor with its advanced zero-latency convolution engine; the highly expressive Reaktor Prism modal synthesizer, the performance effects suite Traktor 12, derived from Native Instruments' DJ software; and the new Vintage Organs instrument with its selection of sampled tone-wheel organs for Kontakt.

Pablo La Rosa, International Director of Marketing for Native Instruments, shares, “KOMPLETE 7 is our biggest and most powerful software instrument and effects bundle ever. With all 24 of these amazing plug-ins now running on RECEPTOR, performing musicians now have the ultimate solution to cover just about any sound they need.”

Of course RECEPTOR 2 runs all these plug-ins and many more with its famous low-latency performance, pristine audio quality, and tour-proven reliability on the road with such acts as Herbie Hancock, U2, Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen, and Billy Joel, many of who use Receptor with Komplete Inside, offering the perfect combination of portability, ruggedness, pristine audio quality, and tight real-time performance whether it is used on stage, in an orchestra pit, or in the studio. Winner of multiple Key Buy awards from Keyboard magazine as well as other Editor's Choice awards, the RECEPTOR 2 continues to empower musicians around the world to use software instruments and effects as if they were based on dedicated hardware... a real solution for the world of virtual instruments and effects.

“We’re proud to continue to offer the combination of RECEPTOR 2 plus KOMPLETE 7 as a turn-key, superior-quality solution for players around the world,” comments Chris Halaby, CEO of Muse R&D. “The massive range of sound possibilities with KOMPLETE 7 coupled with the high performance of RECEPTOR 2 makes this an ideal solution for keyboardists, guitarists, drummers, and studio engineers, regardless of where they perform or what kind of music they make. It truly is a complete solution in the truest sense of the word,” he adds.

KOMPLETE but not costly
There is a RECEPTOR for every budget thanks to new lower pricing across the product range. The line starts with the RECEPTOR 2 with a dual core processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 320GB high performance drive for just $1599, or step up to the RECEPTOR 2 PRO with its dual core Intel engine and 750GB drive for just $1999. And for the demanding applications of film composing and studio use, the RECEPTOR 2 PRO MAX with its 1TB drive and faster Intel dual core processor delivers the performance and quality that professionals expect for $2499. But hurry, these prices are available only for a limited time! All three of these can have KOMPLETE 7 pre-installed, pre-authorized and ready to rock for just an additional $499, including multiple authorizations, so it can be installed on a DAW computer as well.
