Software Engineer
Muse Research, a music and audio products company located in Menlo Park, is looking for a
self-motivated and creative Software Engineer. Muse is developing cutting edge software /
hardware devices for musicians and needs your applications development skills.
Responsibilities
- Applications development - development and maintenance of GUI applications and
plug-ins for Linux, Windows and Mac OS. - Plug-in compatibility - use your Win32 API skills to support Windows VST plug-ins in
our Wine emulation environment. - Provide expert help to customer support, testing and manufacturing as needed.
Experience and Skills
Required:
- 2-4 years C++ Windows application development.
- Passion for music.
- Professional development, or extensive user experience, with audio/MIDI
applications. - Attention to detail; interest in graphics and GUIs.
Desired:
- Mac OS programming experience, or extensive user experience.
- Linux programming, or extensive user experience.
- VST plug-in development.
- Audio/MIDI applications development.
Terms
- Position is Software Engineer and reports to the Engineering Manager.
- Salary will depend on level of experience ($70,000 - $120,000).
- Company benefits package and stock option plan is available.
- Offices are in Menlo Park.
