Michael Ost is a 14-year veteran of C/C++ applications development. He has numerous on-time software releases under his belt, acting at all levels from architecting the software, to writing the code, to leading various programming teams.

Michael has developed software for all forms of media. He was instrumental in numerous successful releases of the award winning Master Tracks Pro and Encore products during his ten years at Passport Designs. He later co-founded Mediapede, where he designed and implemented UltraDV -- a video editing application for BeOS and Linux.

Most recently he was the principal programmer for Be Inc.'s HARP, an embedded MP3 streaming and jukeboxing audio platform, and also worked on the design and implementation of an Internet video conferencing solution for the BeOS.
