Hank Barry is a partner at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners in San Francisco. Prior to joining Hummer Winblad, Hank was a partner with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, a Silicon Valley law firm, where he led the firm's interactive new media practice. At WSGR, Hank was principal outside counsel to several pioneering Internet companies, including Global Village Communications, Looksmart, Liquid Audio and NetDynamics. From May 2000 through July 2001 Hank served as interim Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Napster, Inc.

Hank holds a B.A. degree in economics with highest distinction from the University of Michigan and a J.D. degree from Stanford Law School, where he was managing editor of the Stanford Law Review. He currently serves on the Boards of several nonprofit organizations, and is a member of the Board of Visitors of Stanford Law School. He is on the Board of Sensoria Corporation as well as that of Muse.
